Choosing Christmas Cards

I know, I know. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, and I'm already thinking about what Christmas cards to send out. But I was excited when Minted offered me the chance to order some products from their site. They have so many selections to choose from that I'm having a hard time narrowing it down. Also, I like to get holiday cards done early so I have more time to sit around eating Christmas cookies and doing last minute internet shopping.

Candy Letter Recognition Game

Despite my best efforts to polish it off after the kids have gone to bed, we still have a TON of Halloween candy. Since my kids like dumping the candy out, sorting it, and gazing at it lovingly almost as much as they like actually eating it, we used it for a simple letter recognition activity. All you need are alphabet cards (or index cards) and a bucket of Halloween candy.
