Ideas for Teaching Letters and Words Through Play: Kid's Co-op

I love all the ideas for teaching letters and words through play from last week's Kid's Co-op:

1.  JDaniel4's Mom shared a fun way to work on the Dolch preprimer words using a basketball theme.
2.  ABC and 123 has a fun alphabet staircase that is definitely on my to-do list.
3.  I love the alphabet stones from Kara's classroom and they look so easy to make.
4.  Site word practice is lots of fun with Playdough to Plato's alien game.
5.  Keep the kids busy (and learning!) with a fun clothespin letter matching activity from Scribble Doodle and Draw.

We've also been having fun working on letters with a preschool treasure map.

I've pinned these to the Kid's Co-op Pinterest Board (and you can find a featured button on my buttons page if you'd like one.)

Thanks so much to everybody who linked up last week!  Can't wait to see what you've got this week!
