Kid Made Alphabet Books
Back in the olden days, before I even started kindergarten, my mom bought my sister and me each a blank scrapbook to make our own alphabet books. Mine was red and I L-O-V-E-D it. My sister and I went through old magazines and cut out letters and glued them in alphabetical order to each page of the scrapbook. We also cut out pictures we liked from the magazines and glued them to the page that corresponded with the initial sound.
Ten on the Sled: Number Recognition and Counting
My kids love the song "Ten in the Bed", so I knew they would like the book Ten on the Sled
by Kim Norman. Ten animals pile on the sled for a wild ride, but one by one they fall off!
