 Two fabulous features from last week:

Over at The Golden Gleam they washed toys with colored water. How can you not love an activity that combines fun with getting a chore done??

You know I love a book and a craft!  Adventures in Reading With Kids shared this cute cotton round lamb and a book to go with it!

TP Roll Eggs

We had a lot of fun exploring different materials with this project.  We started by squishing some toilet paper rolls a little to make an egg shape which we used as a stamp. (I was inspired by this cute pumpkin patch I saw at I Heart Crafty Things back in the fall.)

 Two fabulous features from last week:Adventures in Reading With Kids shared a cute craft and game to go with 10 Little Rubber Ducks by Eric Carle. 

I also discovered a great new blog this week.  Happy Birthday Author celebrates the birthdays of authors and illustrators.  How fun is that??  They made a junk bug to celebrate James Warhola's birthday.

Shape Leprechauns

My three year old son asked to do a project which almost never happens.  I didn't have anything prepared but I wasn't about to say no, so I had to pull something out of my, er, craft drawer (what'd you think I was going to say?)

Cloud Parfaits

Today we read Little Cloud by Eric Carle.  Little Cloud drifts behind all the other clouds and turns into fun shapes like an airplane and a rabbit.  Then Little Cloud joins the other clouds to become one big cloud before it starts to rain.

Preschool Cloud Experiment & Weather Blog Hop!

This is a cute activity to not only make your own clouds, but to make the clouds rain!

Cloud Paint

Drew has been curious about clouds lately so we checked out some cloud books from the libary.  One of the books we got was It Looked Like Spilt Milk.  The book has a repetive pattern describing how a cloud could look like different shapes.  "Sometimes it looked like a flower, but it wasn't a flower."  The kids liked guessing what each cloud was supposed to look like.
