Even MORE Wheels on the Bus

As I mentioned in this post and this post, we are huge "Wheels on the Bus" fans and we found another book to add to our collection.  The Wheels on the Bus by Jane Cabrera is a super fun version with animals traveling through the jungle on a bus to the swimming hole.  "The lion on the bus goes Roar! Roar! Roar!  All day long..."  Monkeys chatter, crocodiles snap - we even made up some hand movements to go along with it.

For a snack to go along with our book, I took some inspiration from Kiboomu.  Here's what you need:
He couldn't wait to get started!
Mix a few drops of yellow food coloring into some vanilla frosting and spread it on a graham cracker.
Add some cookies for wheels and animal crackers for passengers.  Here's Drew's:
Needless to say, all that sugar made it a big hit!

I love the snack ideas! Great suggestions for Wheels on the Bus versions. We just found a new favorite one called "The Seals on the Bus" There is a verse for the "vipers" on the bus that go "ssss". It's so cute. There are lots of animals in it so I think your snack will go great!
