My kids love the song "Wheels on the Bus". We sing it all the time, especially in the car. So when I saw Wheels On The Race Car
While Drew was napping, I made him a racing board for his matchbox cars. We send them through the "tunnels" to see which one wins. I just covered a big piece of cardboard with wrapping paper and taped on paper-covered cardboard tubes (from paper towels and toilet paper). I was concerned about being able to line up the tubes perfectly but I just eyeballed it and they mostly work just fine. If a car starts to "crash", we just adjust the angle of the board or wiggle the tube a little. Drew told me it was cool. Twice. Without me asking. Totally worth the twenty minutes I spent making it.
And just so you don't think I'm neglecting my little Lainey girl, I'll tell you that we also got The Babies on the Bus
