I saw Play Create Explore's Toy Truck Painting a while ago and it seemed like the perfect activity to go with our book. We got out some toy cars, some fingerpaint, and a long piece of paper from our easel and headed outside.
Drew was confused at first (I normally discourage painting the toys) but once I showed him what to do, he was all over it.
Lainey had less interest. She is not generally a car girl and her main contribution was to accidentally step in the paint and walk across the paper.
Our finished project. Drew couldn't wait to surprise his dad with it.

Looks like fun! And I love how little sister was able to participate by walking in the paint. Thanks for linking up to Monday Madness!
ReplyDeleteI love how you did this on the long paper. Makes it way fun for the kids to make the long tracks. I have yet to do painting with cars. I really need to get with it. Thanks for linking up to Monday Madness. Hope to see you again tomorrow. Glad to find your blog. First time here and now following.
