Custom Mad Libs & Whoopies!

Back when I was teaching, my students loved to do Mad Libs. So I used that to my advantage. You can make your own Mad Libs from a passage in any book. Here's one I did for Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli as a fun wrap-up activity after reading the book:  Stargirl Mad Libs

Students can even make Mad Libs from their own stories. I made a printable with step-by-step instructions here:  Make your own Mad Libs.

Here's a site where you can do Mad Libs style stories online: Wacky Web Tales

Hope you enjoy!

Now onto the Fall Crawl. Today's stop is Jillian at Food, Folks, and Fun. She's a teacher turned stay at home mom (like me!) and she cooks up lots of fabulous things. Today she's making Pumpkin Whoopie Pies. Can you imagine? Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Head over there for the recipe and to say hi!
